An additional 246 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed by the Mississippi State Department of Health, and 11 more Mississippians have passed away due to the virus.
The new cases have brought Mississippi’s total up to 6,815 with 261 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
The MSDH is now reporting the state’s COVID-19 recovery rate which will be updated weekly.
