Playoff season is here for high school baseball and softball in Mississippi, and the top players from each sport have been recognized for their excellence on the field.
The Mississippi High School Activities Association and Mississippi Association of Coaches announced the winners of the 2025 Miss Softball and Mr. Baseball awards on Tuesday.

The awards, created by a collaborative effort between the two associations and telecommunications giant C Spire in 2023, feature a three-peat winner for Miss Softball and the first-ever co-award winners in Mr. Baseball for a single classification.
Miss Softball winners
- 1A — Madilyn Graham (Stringer High School)
- 2A — Lucy Cochran (East Union High School)
- 3A — Olivia Garrett (Booneville High School)
- 4A — Layla Owens (Itawamba Agricultural High School)
- 5A — Mabry Eason (Lafayette High School)
- 6A — Sadie Bright (South Panola High School)
- 7A — Hannah Jo Sullivan (Brandon High School)
Mr. Baseball winners
- 1A — Jon Grey Morrison (West Union High School)
- 2A — Landon Harmon (East Union High School)
- 3A — Brody Thompson (Mooreville High School)
- 4A — Jacob and JoJo Parker (Purvis High School)
- 5A — Griffin Enis (Corinth High School)
- 6A — Baylor Roberts (Saltillo High School)
- 7A — Talon Haley (Lewisburg High School)
All award winners will be honored during a special awards ceremony at the MHSAA Conference Center on April 30 and will be recognized during softball and baseball state championships in May.
