Luke List became the latest to win the annual Sanderson Farms Championship when he ousted four others in a Sunday playoff at the Country Club of Jackson.
After 72 holes, there was a five-way tie atop the leaderboard between List, Ben Griffin, Henrik Norlander, Scott Stallings, and Ludvig Aberg. The playoff – which was the largest the PGA Tour had seen since the 2021 Ryder Cup – was determined by an unbelievable putt from List.
On the first sudden-death playoff hole, List nailed a birdie putt from just inside 45 feet to claim his second career victory on the Tour and first since the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open, which he also won via a playoff.

Griffin, who was the tournament’s 54-hole leader, missed an eight-foot par putt on the final hole which would have lifted him to his first Tour win. Griffin, Norlander, Stallings, and Aberg each parred the playoff hole to finish T-2.
Of the $8.2 million purse, List took home a check of $1.476 million while the runner-ups walked away with checks of $549,400. The full list of prize money payouts from the 2023 Sanderson Farms Championship can be found below.
