24/7Sports has Reed listed as the 7th-ranked recruit in Louisiana and the 16th-ranked safety in the country in the 2020 recruiting class. At 6’1 & 197 pounds, Reed also plays corner at Calvary Baptist Academy.
As the Rebel defense looks to improve under new DC Mike MacIntyre, Reed chose Ole Miss over his home state’s LSU Tigers, Notre Dame, Kentucky, West Virginia and several other schools.
Reed becomes the second 4-star prospect in Ole Miss’ 2020 class alongside Horn Lake DT Josaih Hayes.
