BURNSVILLE, Miss. — Two hundred jobs are on the way to Tishomingo County. Mississippi Silicon plans on setting up their metal production facility in Burnsville, investing $200 million there.
They were originally supposed to set up in Lowndes County, but leaders pulled the plug on that project after the company missed deadlines to close the deal.
The new facility is expected to be one of the most efficient and cost competitive silicon metal production facilities in the world.
