JACKSON, Miss. — A radio shack near you may be closing. The nationwide electronic retailer announced 1,784 of their stores will be closed by the end of March after the company filed for bankruptcy protection last Thursday. At least 20 of those are in Mississippi, which means a lot of folks could be losing their jobs.
Many of the stores have already had their hours and inventories severely reduced, while skeleton staffs remain to sell off the rest of the items at discounts.
