Two Pike County men have been arrested for child pornography crimes.
On Wednesday, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2100 block of Highway 51 north of Summit in reference to an ongoing investigation. During the course of the search warrant. 32-year-old Garrett Robert Szopinski was taken into custody on a felony warrant for distributing child pornography.
Szopinski remains at the Pike County Jail with no bond at this time.
Authorities conducted a search warrant for 33-year-old Jacob Alan Golmon at Catching-Sharkey Funeral Home on Wednesday. Golmon, an employee at the funeral home, was not at the location when officers arrived.
He was caught and taken into custody on Thursday. The funeral home employee was booked into the Pike County Jail on charges of possession of child pornography and a bench warrant for public display of sexually oriented materials.
No bond for Golmon has been set at this time.
