JACKSON, Miss. – Filing fraudulent tax returns has gotten five people in Mississippi indicted.
Timothy Benjamin Taylor of Clinton; Terence Antonio Thompson of Georgia; Christopher Lashawn Chamberlin of Bailey; Donald Price and Tamia Patrice *Herndo (correct?), both of Jackson, are scheduled to stand trial March 2.
The federal indictment says they used stolen i-ds to create false earnings documents to get illegal refunds.
If convicted, they each could get up to 35 years in prison.
