A teenager is behind bars for allegedly threatening to open gunfire at Harrison Central High School on multiple occasions.
Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley confirms that an unidentified 16-year-old male is now behind bars on two felony counts of making terroristic threats. He is accused of threatening to “shoot up” the educational facility.
According to law enforcement, the first incident took place on Friday and the second one occurred on Wednesday — right as reports began circulating that four people were killed in a school shooting in Winder, Georgia.
The teenager has been booked into the Harrison County Detention Center and is being held with no bond.
