The vast majority of cases, hospitalizations and deaths are among the un-vaccinated, according to Dobbs. He says if you’re immunocompromised for any reason you need to talk to your doctor. You might need an antibody test to make sure you’re immune. If not–he says a booster dose may be indicated.
Dobbs discussed the Delta variant at length during an interview with SuperTalk Mississippi on The Gallo Show yesterday. He’s encouraging Mississippians that have only had one shot to go get that second dose, no matter how long it’s been since your first shot. It’s your best protection from this new strain. The Delta variant is more contagious, and it’s affecting a younger demographic.
