An Oklahoma resident has been locked up for hauling over 1,100 pounds of drugs across Mississippi.
On Thursday, November 14, officers with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety’s Commercial Transportation Enforcement Division pulled over a truck towing an enclosed trailer on Highway 72 in Tishomingo County.
A roadside investigation led to probable cause for a search, revealing illegal narcotics, a handgun, and body armor.
The unidentified driver was arrested and charged with possession of seven grams of cocaine and felony trafficking of 1,100 pounds of marijuana.
